Holy Moly

I saw a Christmas post and I just had to post something new. Where are you broards? What's new? What's old? What's blue?

I'm still here. Nothing new. Reading a lot and trying to stay inside away from the pollen. What's new with you?

Hi Emma and Gail. Everything's pretty much the same for me too. My father-in-law died a couple of weeks ago, which was not unexpected but still sad. We're having a cooler spring so far than last year; there was a small storm on Tuesday and it got down to the single digits. I'm working on a lot of projects and going to a conference at the end of the month. How are you?

Sonya, so sorry for your loss. The weather this "spring" has been crazy, hasn't it? I've been watching the national weather reports and cannot believe the snow still falling out your way. This afternoon, I'm waiting on the storms that passed thru Arkansas yesterday to come here, but hopefully, the tornadoes stay away from my little corner of paradise :) Good to hear from you.

Thanks, Gail. Yes, the weather is crazy. We're supposed to get another storm on Monday. But I'm happy about it rather than start off a bad fire season early. We are in severe drought mode and can water only twice a week. All the mountain reservoirs are near empty. I hope you don't get any tornadoes!

No tornadoes in my area, Sonya, but there was one in north Georgia-no loss of life, but plenty of damage. I can sympathize with your drought situation as we've been in one for the past two years. This year, however, we've finally gotten much needed rain and have made up the difference with most lakes near full pool. However, now that growing season is ginning up, the rain will probably be a no-show, as usual. Hope you get some rain/snow soon although I'd prefer rain, but that's just me :)

Hmm...I thought I posted something, but it went away.

Anyway, how nice to see you Broards! Glad you're still alive and kicking!
