Hi Spidey. Yes, everyone really liked the lasagna. I didn't use ground beef, but used hot italian sausage and some zucchini. There are a lot of leftovers, so that's what we're eating again tonight. We had to have the cat put to sleep (I hate that phrase) today and I'm tired. Thanks so much for posting the recipe. We'll be making this again soon.
it would be a lovely thought to believe that I will again see all my pets, but it will be quite the menagerie, what with the goats, lizards, snakes, rats, mice, gerbils, butterflies, moths, gerbils, beetles, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, parakeets, turtles,toads, frogs, salamanders, and fish. I am not certain how they will all feel about each other though since some of them ate others of them

So sorry, Tree. My elderly boy is headed in the same direction (the cat, not Dave.) It's disheartening.
I'd be sorely tempted to believe in a religion that promised me I'd have all my pets in heaven for all eternity.
