Super Bowl Sunday

Although I think the SB is a big yawn, I know A LOT of people are pumped about it.
I read that advertisers are ponying up three million dollars for an ad spot. That's A LOT of dough!
What foods are you serving at your party--are you serving A LOT of different stuff?

I like the suggested blog post a lot!
And we're watching the Super Bowl but without the enthusiasm of urbanstargazr. Rice krispie treats will be involved.

I am awaiting the special tribute to Reagan at the Super Bowl

Chick-Fil-A has a bigger problem as it expands beyond it's Bible Belt territory-it's not open on Sunday.

chickfila does fine here regardless of not being open sundays and we're not in the bible belt by any stretch of the concept. even hobby lobby does fine and they're closed on sunday too. i don't mind paying more for chickfila food b/c it's always clean and the employees don't use the word "fuck" 47 times while i'm trying to order, nor do they halt taking my order to answer their cell phones. That's TYPICAL Mcdonald's employee behavior here.

Chick-Fil-A has the best service and friendliest staff of any eating establishment. They are franchised, which makes it all the more amazing. I consistently get great service and high quality food, no matter which Chick-Fil-A I visit, in any of the 4 states I travel frequently.

If I had a lot of money, I would open up my own franchise.

Jilly, I have heard and seen a lot of things at fast food joints, but I've never heard an employee say the F bomb . . what the hell is wrong with people in your area?

Never heard of Chick-Fil-A, what is it?

Never heard my fast food folks say "fuck" either.

We served bratwurst and cheese curds for the Packers; Primanti Brother sandwiches for Pittsburgh. Also had the usual chips and dips; cold cut/cheese/olive/etc. tray. Brownies, magic bars, and two types of cookies for desserts.
