The Killing with no resolution

I get and appreciate a story that unfolds slowly, but The Killing ending was infuriating. Am I the only one?

I loved it! Unless, of course, there is no Season 2

You can tell me if they ever solve the mystery because I think I'm done.

I have to say that I don't understand all the irate people announcing they won't ever watch it again. (And I think they are kidding themselves, and that they probably will be glued to the set next season--not you, of course, Sonya. You are not the type to kid yourself.)

I love a good cliffhanger, myself!

I do have to say that I was stunned by Holder's betrayal, and sad, because I love the character. I'm so charmed by Joel Kinnamon that I'm seriously tempted to rent his hit Swedish movie so I can feast my eyes on him some more. I wonder if it's subtitled?

Here's my thing, Verb. I don't think Holder is really a villain. They didn't set it up that way; I think it's a red herring. So what was the purpose? I truly felt we were slogging (literally) through the last five episodes and they took the viewer for granted. Who knows how I'll feel when the 2nd season comes around, but the storytelling was sloppy and compared to Game of Thrones, which was fantastic, I felt let down. All that being said, I get that other people may feel differently and I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)
