Irrational Fears

Emma....your doll picture freaks me out. I hate old fashioned dolls. They are the scariest thing ever.

Clanky, Scarier than clowns??

That doll was one of the ones my husband's old hoarder aunt threw out when we helped her move a few years ago. She had scores of mannequins--I took one with a head and boobs, and a solitary leg with part of an ass attached. Lovingly named "Assleg". it now resides with Tree (unless she pitched it when she moved).
If if scares you so, I'll look for a replacement picture.

Ok. I replaced it with a picture I took on vacation in June.

I did not pitch assleg. But it is in the garage for the time being.

Emma it is a dang good thing we do not live closer or I would have descended upon you and run off with your mannequins LOL... the tree is much less scary

I think people will have to call me the old hoarder aunt, eaten by her cats if I live that long.

Orbie, that Hallie's and my goal for our old age. We aim to be that 100-something year old crone and her eccentric 80 year old daughter, living in a haunted victorian house with 47 cats.

Dave keeps asking where he fits into this scenario, and we keep explaining that for it to work, he's going to have to be deceased. We'll need the insurance money for cat food.

Orbie,
btw I received Maddie's magnets and they are splendid. What a talented girl!

i have a hard time letting things go too. sign me up for the haunted victorian house full of crap. i just don't want my carcass eaten by cats.
on the doll subject. i had a doll (betsy wetsy) and one night my brother said he saw her dancing on my bed while i was sleeping in it. after that, i never felt the same about betsy.

Emma I am glad you like the magnets. You are the first person to buy some :)

Maybe we should just find some big old Victorian house... actually I have a friend in St Paul who claims that after his mother dies he is opening up his big old brownstone as a home for Queens... maybe we could stay there. It should be lively at least!

A home for Queens....just what I need.

Clowns are scarier.

My best friend and I have similar plans although ours involve a compound with separate houses. H and her husband S ask the same thing -- where they fit in and we explain that they're handymans.
