Just another plain ol' weekend here on Big Pine Key. With temps near 80. And fish tugging flies on the end of a line. And salty margaritas in the late afternoon. And my good wife of 28 years.
Daughter coming home for spring break on Sunday. Other daughter taking SAT and not understanding why we'd prefer her to stay home tonight to rest and prepare. We will meditate on our cruelty, I guess. Our grass is greening on the edges. Ded, your margarita or something similar, perhaps a tall gin & tonic might really hit the spot.
my last 2 were the worst with that. Now the older of the last two is regreting not listening. he'll be 21 in 2 months. Now he wishes he listened to momma.
I am still waiting for my eternal gratitude. But the good news is that she's gotten a good night's sleep and is up, ready to take the test. I'm going to fry her some bacon in celebration.

The usual...working Saturday and Sunday at the casino, helping rich drunk Texans divest themselves of their excess money.
(And my Word Verification Word is "bilucent", which sounds like a paint color at Home Depot.)
