fantastic products?

Although I still love my Burts Bees products, I found some fantastic hand creme. My hands and arms were just so flaky and dry this winter. Anyway . . .

It's Olivella Hand Cream (Ideal for Dry & Chapped Skin) It's made with olive and fruit oils, lavender and citrus oils and it smells nice. It's pricey--$10 for 2.54 ounces, but my scaly skin is worth it!

Have you run across some fantastic product you'd like to share with us?

I just got the new Blistex Deep Renewal. I use the regular Blistex creme in the slanted tube every night but with the weather so dry, I'm not finding anything to really do the job. I'll probably use the Deep Renewal during the day although how it can outdo Avon Lip Dew is a mystery.

I have a new favorite lotion. It's not organic or delightfully scented or anything, but boy, does it WORK! If I put this on my dry, scaly legs (for some reason, it's always the legs with me. My hands never get dry) first thing in the morning, they stay soft and non-itchy all day.

It's called Dove Cream Oil Intensive Body Lotion for Exra Dry Skin. It even works in Santa Ana weather, when our humidity drops to about 3%. Try it!

Spidey,
First exfoliate your lips with a scrub of some sort to get all the dead skin off, then use a good lip balm (I love Burts Bees beeswax lip balm.) Find a lip balm you like that DOESN'T have a petroleum product...petroleum dries out--it doesn't mosturize as some manufacturers would like you to think.

Oh, and one more thing--the Ped Egg actually works! Hallie put one in Christmas stocking last year, and I LOVE it. I've had fewer problems with my dry, cracked heels in the last year than I've ever had before.

Basically, it's kind of a microplane nutmeg grater for your heels. It removes calluses in tiny little bits, and leaves you really smooth. I love the thing! And now I've noticed that it's in all the discount and drug stores--no more ordering it from infomercials.

P.S. wv=hydra
Can this thing read our minds?

That's weird. I get one every time. This time, it's "scrousp." Sounds like the national dish of a small, Eastern bloc country.

i have a bottle of palmer's cocoa butter in every room of my house since i got pregnant and it helps me out. i've been so itchy this year, it's been terrible. palmer's also makes chap stick that i like, it doesn't get goopy or taste icky and isn't terribly so when the tube talks off, i don't have to pay a small fortune to replace it. my nose and sinuses have been very dry and i got this stuff from the doctor (free samples) to put up in there, and it really helps but it smells like vick's.

i always have a wv

I bought some Body Shop body butter stuff, comes in all sorts of fragrances, I got cranberry I think. It's also really good for very dry skin. And in the shower I use this stuff from La Occtaine, it's grapeseed exfoliator with grapeseed oil in it, makes your skin really soft in and of itself, then but on a really good lotion/body butter, yer ready to go.
