Mine's OK so far. Nothing exciting to report. Just quiet.

Pretty good. We had a big party here on Saturday, so there were days and days of cleaning and prepping and shopping. Yesterday, I did nothing. Went to breakfast with my mom and sister, then I read all day, then went to the store and the liquor store so we could make hamburgers and strawberry margaritas. We watched The Killing and Game of Thrones. I was a slug. (Ready to find out who the killer is on The Killer. Kind of tired of it. But we're surprised how much we like Game of Thrones.) Today I went for a long walk and took a shower. I think I'm still recovering from the party. Friday, we fly to Illinois for graduation. Will be home Sunday. Please help yourself to anything in the fridge.

only three more episodes of The Killing!

The Killing's pace is slow, and I agree that I've wished that it would hurry along.

And yet, at the end of an episode, I feel shocked that it could be an hour already, and unhappy that it's already over. It is so incredibly well-acted--TV at its best.

I like The Killing. Can't seem to get into Game of Thrones though. It's been quiet around here.

Have a safe trip, Tree.

i picked radishes from my garden and ate them for lunch. MissM loves picking radishes but is terrified of worms, so it's funny watching her navigate the task.

memorial day is about the most depressing of the so called holidays on the calendar. i always end up at memorial services or depressing parades.

We went down the coast for a few days. Went to the Hearst castle, walked on the beach, did some shopping, and ate like pigs.

I love the Hearst castle! It's beautiful and vaguely creepy at the same time, like all old houses.
