Finished painting the dining room in the late afternoon, coats of white oil trim defining burnt orange flat finish walls. Later, for drinks and a long dinner with Donny B, our 40-something, all too recently divorced good friend. Eats was Mexican fusion. Think of Bert's lower intestines (if you must) combined with more entrails of Japanese prepared squid and clams. A rollicking--and revealing--time was had by all, and afterward, I paid for it.
Let's see: I'm arranging some music for my mellophone section; I'm creating a tool for the entire region to use at work; I'm checking references on a GM candidate; I'm working on reports and documentation; I'm practicing my horn; I'm shopping (just finished that thank goodness); I'm grocery shopping; I'm cleaning; I'm going to my parents' house tomorrow for Sunday dinner (lunch).
it's sunday afternoon, my enitre house is clean, all my laundry is washed and put away, i've been to the store and mandolin is down for a nap. my sister are supposed to visit me today, but it's 1:30pm and they haven't left their home yet, so i haven't put dinner on because i refuse to cook for an army that isn't going to arrive.
VQ-I've been here, but since my life is so completely boring there's nothing to say. Just waiting on Dennis hand and foot and getting him off the floor when he falls. But thanks for asking :)
Woke up Saturday to a neighbor at my door telling me the police were here cuz someone broken into my car and smashed my windows. Dealt with that. Did laundry. Finished putting away the Xmas stuff. Took a bunch of stuff to storage. Watched the playoffs. Had my niece and nephew and some friends over for dinner Sunday.

I had book group last night, which was fun. Today I'm going to paint a ceramic rooster and chicken for my kitchen. I'll probably do that tomorrow too.
