What's new in your world?

In mine, nothing right now and I kinda like it that way.

Nothing good

Two new lavender and two dianthus plants. Plus I'm snickering because my daughter is cleaning out her house in preparation for their move and I don't have to help. And there should be an order from BN in the mail tomorrow. The weather is sucky, but all in all, not much to report. Dennis is still old and I'm still his caregiver :)

Just got a new 5-sheet thickness shredder from Wal-Mart to take care of mail we wish to toss out that has our names / addresses on it.

Gail, what are you getting from BN?

I'm in Oklahoma visiting my mother, and so far we've had cold winds, thunderstorms and hail. I fully expect a tornado before I leave.

Kathryn: The Night Birds, Figures in Silk, Shadow and Light, The Tourist, In the Courts of the Sun, Once Were Cops, All the Colors of Darkness, The Silent Man, The Anatomy of Deception. I'm reading The Forgotten Garden right now The author is the same one who wrote The House at Riverton which I liked a lot.

I try to order a lot of books at the same time, partly because I want to but mainly I do so enjoy the looks on the counter people's faces at the Post Office when they haul out my package :)

VQ-if you hear a train and your mother doesn't live near a train track, run like hell.

I am going back to work on Thursday, that'll be 4 1/2 weeks and I was supposed to be out for 6-8 weeks :)
Oh, and it was 95 degrees here today which is crazy. We also had to take one of the cats to the vet, he's probably not going to lose his tooth, but the whole things gonna cost around $200 (BF paying, not me) and I had to pick up some flea stuff, that was $68, darn cats are expensive :(
