Indiana Food

Hey Emma . . . I'm going to a Super Bowl party on Sunday and am looking for something to bring that is typically Indiana. I looked on the internet and Indiana doesn't have an official food and most references I found to food in Indiana was for pork and beans. Any ideas?? Thanks.

the only "indiana" foods I can think of are those bigass , thin, breaded tenderloins that are made into sandwiches.
We also like corn on the cob and fresh tomatoes in August

I was poking around more last night and found references to those sandwiches as well. Pork tenderloin sandwiches. Looked . . . interesting.

Just feed them meat . . . men like meat

Urbs, my advice is to serve red beans & rice, or perhaps some shrimp jambalaya!

Okay, I'm giving up on Indianapolis food. Now just looking for general ideas. I'm supposed to bring an appetizer and a dessert.

What Kath said. Go with jambalaya or maybe gumbo. It's a Brees.
