television

1. CSI: Gil's gone to Costa Rica, and met up with Sara Sidle. I saw that coming when it showed his GPS system.
2. Are you excited Lost is starting up again?
3. The Office: Angela was finally outed as "The Office Mattress"--a label she tried to stick on Pam last season.
4. A new season of Survivor will begin soon: Is there an end in sight?
5. Shows I've never seen a full episode: How I Met Your Mother, 2 and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, Ugly Betty, ER (is it finally over?), House, Bones, NCIS, any of the "Real Housewives" franchise, Monday Night Football, Ghost Whisperer.
6. To Schell: I watched last week's My Name is Earl where Joy was trying to be on the game show"Estrada or Nada" and had a flashback to whenshe was a child. Although I've never met Tea Lady--Joy's hacking grandma reminded me of her.

1. Sara Sidle makes my teeth clench-Gil could have done much better Lawrence Fishburn should be good as the new member.
2. No-never watched this one
3. Don't watch this one either
4. Nope again-the only reality show I've ever watched for the entire run was The Greatest American Dog.
5. 2 & a Half Men is hilarious, NCIS has Mark Harmon (yum), Ugly Bettty got old in a hurry, Bones is a neat show-especially the interplay between the characters, House got old even faster than Ugly Betty, ER-never watched this one either, college football is usually the only football we watch, the Ghost Whisperer just didn't appeal
6. My Name is Earl is sometimes a hoot.

If you haven't tried them, The Mentalist and Eleventh Hour are both entertaining. We watch way to much TV.

Emma....if I didn't know better, I'd think the writers of Earl knew Tea Lady.

Richard is unhappy that Grissom did not stay with Lady Heather, but I think he will be much happier chasing bugs in Costa Rica,

Lady Heather was too freaking weird and damaged. Grissom deserved someone better.

Gail, Why does Sara make your teeth clench. I loved the character--she was empathetic and capable.

when i met bert, beans and verb in CA we had a chat about "earl." my mom loves this show. the man who writes it went to the college i went to and many of the white trash characters are modeled after people from where i'm from. i've only ever seen one episode and it's the spoof of "Rudy" with the actors from the movie but it was cute. TV really lost its appeal for me a few years back and if it's on, i have to be doing something else, like sewing, to get me to sick there. however, i do enjoy you all talking about tv, so i don't look so inorant when other people talk about it.

Emma, I'm not quite sure why Sara got on my last nerve and I've thought about it much more than I should have. Apparently, she's just one of those characters that annoys me.

Simon Baker is soooo cool as The Mentalist isn't he? And not half bad looking either ;-) I love the twinkle in his eyes.

He's a cute little fella. He reminds me of a leprechaun

I love the Mentalist too. Best new show out there. I am looking forward to Lost... very much although I hope it doesn't just Jump the Shark!
I also like Criminal Minds. I will miss Gil and never thought Sara was good enough for him. Heck he should have found another entomologist.
