we've been getting ice since monday night, but htey only called a delay, no closings. we've already had 4 closings, so they're afraid we'll be going to school into july again if they don't start sucking it up in the weather.
Streets are ice here, with sleet over that, and then snow over that. We have no snow plows. I worked from home today. All my stores from TX, to AR, to OK, to MO were closed.
My daughter lives in Illinois and she called with a blizzard report: lots of snow and many of the college building have no power. Sounds damned miserable. We're just cold here, (supposed to be -20 tonight) with only a couple of inches of snow. Still, we get another snow day tomorrow. Next year, no kids in public school, no real snow day, right? Feels weird.
