Oh my gosh, I really enjoyed that! Thanks, Verb. Her pianos and outfits always matched. As I watched it, I thought, she is a feminine Liberace!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9nO9Ro_kd4
When Dad and I and my sisters played Vegas long long ago Dad took us to JoAnn's show... He knew her pretty well (he made friends with everyone) and she gave me one of her albums and autographed it for me.
I have always loved her playing. My dad played much like that
She was delightful to talk with... She was playing in a rather small venue in Vegas just at the end of the strip... I think this was 1973 and after her show Dad dragged us shy girls up to meet her... she was just as bubbly and vivacious in real life as she is in the videos... That is her... It is one of my banjo playing days memories that is very dear.

And in her old age, her clothes have become Liberace-like, too!
And I agree, looking at some of those clips, I was charmed by the themed artwork on her piano. Wonder who did all that?

thanks for the memories
Lori, how totally cool. JoAnn is a ragtime piano icon! What a fun story.
