I was a freshman in college when Burt's famous Playgirl centerfold came out. My roommate, Ann Butler, was the sweetest little Baptist farm girl from Waukomis, Okla. that you could ever meet. Some girls from the dorm went to the student union bookstore, bought the Playgirl, and taped the centerfold to her closet door, under the towel bar where her towel was hanging. I was still in bed when she took the towel off the rack the next morning.
You could hear the squeal echoing all the way up and down the hall!
I was in High School when someone got a hold of a copy of his Cosmo pantyhose ad and passed it all through the Large Group English presentation. Row after row of us took a peek then passed it along in the auditorium while our rather boring speaker blathered on and on and on
Burt Reynolds is a primo example of the nastiness of time. The surgery he did to his face was unforgivable. I liked the guy but he had a habit of chewing gum when he talked.
Plus, didn't he and Dinah Shore have a torrid affair? I read somewhere that she was a lesbian, so I didn't get the connection
