style vs. substance

SP didn't impress me. first off, don't wink at me. stop using the word, darn it. you sound like a moron. i must admit you did a great job memorizing your speech, but most of the time you didn't answer THE question being asked.

and stop hauling that baby around. he looked like a limp doll up on that stage.

Just like Lou Grant, I hate perky. Palin reminds me of all the cheerleaders in high school who were SO nice to your face (if they spoke to you at all), but you just knew talked about you later and not in a nice way. I didn't think either one of them came off especially well as both sounded like they had learned the script and "darn it" they were going to stick to it come hell or high water or what the question really was.

i won't vote for someone who says "noo-cu-lear" the word is "nooo-clear" and damn if she didn't say the word "maverick" 70 billion times, i really loved the daily show bio on mccain from a few weeks ago, they made fun of the "maverick" BS so much, so i can't take them seriously when they say the word "maverick"

no one was swayed, but entertainment was had by all.

There's something odd about Pailin's sentence structure, as if the subjects, verbs, prepositional phrases and clauses are in absolute disarray and are spoken in total disorder. Ordinarily, I'd attribute the behavior to a dull person attempting to sound intelligent but that is neither right nor fair. There is such a pattern to it that I think it's just a reflexion of how her mind works.

alex,

i dislike his purple/blue lips and often watch them move about instead of paying attention to what he's saying. i'm overly petty i know, but i can't get worked up in support of either but i do get worked up in opposition of both.

I dont think either choice is particularly stimulating, id like a politician who was conservative about finance and defence but also liberal with social policy but not in a nanny state kind of way but then I'd like peace on earth and goodwill to all men too
