Sorry Verb, I need to user your entry here for my own selfish purposes.

I don't have rights to create new entries on this blog and Bert says that if I want Emma's attention I have to post here so . . .

Emma (or other gardeners out there - Orb? Anyone?) . . . my tomato plants have bumps on the stems and some of the leaves have yellow spots on them. Help!!

Urban,
It sounds like a fungus or pest. Do you plant your tomatoes in the same place each year?
If so, rotate--don't plant in the same place each year because diseases build up in the soil.
There might be a spray that will eradicate the problem--depending on how extensive the damage is.

PS: Months ago I sent you an invitation to be a contributor on this blog, but evidently you didn't reply. Is it still UrbanStargazer@aol.com? If so I'll send you another invite.

Emma -- Thanks. This my first foray into tomaters and I'm using one of them there topsy turvy things. The soils all new stuff I bought. I'll go get an fungicide and see what that does.

It is still UrbanStarGazer@aol.com but I rarely check it so I probably missed it. I will keep an eye out for the invite now. Thanks!

Hmmm . . . didn't get it. I have major limits on that account but I loosened them up -- can you send again? Thanks.
