cnn... sarah palin.... why????

so you are probably sick of me yapping about sarah palin, but damn if she isn't on the tv everytime i turn it on. tonight i turned on CNN and they were interviewing her and asking her what advice she has for Barack. i threw up a little in my mouth and then listened to her. it was the same old run around crap as usual. she talks but all i hear is yadda yadda blah blah gotcha dontcha know what was the question?

why in the world would he want any advice from her?

why is anyone asking her these questions?

I agree Spidey. Wolf Blitzer was yapping about her. Chris Matthews was yapping about her.
The Republican party is in dire straits if that no-nothing woman is the best they have to offer. Imagine someone with so little knowledge about her own country and the world at large thinking she has the chops to be president in 2012!

AND I watche dthe Matt Lauer interview. He asked her youngest daughter Piper a question--whether she'd like to see her mother run again. Palin said, "What do you think, Sister, would you like to do this all over?" She called her "sister." It struck me as odd

LOL Spidey, I know it's gross but I love that expression- I just threw up a little in my mouth. Hi-larious! And yes, I agree, I think it's insulting and rediculous that they are asking her for her advice to Obama, give me a break, that's like asking a chimp what it thinks.

there's little else to do but stir up trouble right now

p.s. i wish we could switch our "word verification" to be an actual word and maybe even cuss words at that (i'm in withdrawl).

I squarely blame the medja for continuing this entire line of Palin Possibilities. When you keep interviewing her you are either out of real news, hoping she shows her ignorance on your show so you get the credit for outting her moronism (it SHOULD be a word!) when in fact the interviewer is showing their own by even having her on. The continued spotlight on her gives her more importance than she really has, but who can blame her for thinking that she is all that and more with the attention she is getting. Stop doing fluff pieces and get down to the nitty gritty of whom Obama is vetting for various jobs. And what school the girls will attend.

sheila, she could certainly turn the interviews down. she spent the day yesterday doing interviews instead of attending the republican governers conference. she is acting coy when anyone asks her if she would consider running in 2012. but she will consider it if god shows her the way to the whitehouse door. or if everyone begs her to do it or some such nonsense.

Spidey, why on earth would she turn them down?? This is giving her great exposure, she isn't the one bitterly and biliously complaining about her being on TV! Contact the networks and do like I do, turn the other channel. Let them know that you don't consider her newsworthy. But as long as the public eats it up, it is going to be on TV and print media, and that isn't Palin's fault. The networks get viewers. They win, Palin wins, you lose unless you let them know.

She bitches and moans and derails the so-called "Media elite" every chance she gets...if she loathes the liberal media so much...stay off of MSNBC, Matt lauer, and CNN and get her ego-feeding exposure by going on Limbaugh's radio show or kneel down before that loofa-loving sexual harrasser Bill O'Reilly

One thing is for sure,, she can't schedule herself. She can make it known that she will be happy to oblige, but she doesn't get to put herself on. The point is still, why would she NOT take advantage of this interest in her. Ask some freaking really tough questions and I bet she doesn't come back for more. You don't have to like her, I don't like her, but blaming HER for this preoccupation with her,, including many of you,,is preposterous. Turn her off. If she is so disquieting to you, turn her the hell off. Nothing hard about it.

we can agree to disagree.
but wow, bitter and bilious is a bit harsh.
what do i have to be bitter about? she lost. if anything i am highly annoyed, and you are right, i could turn her off, but i can't. it is like a car accident and i am a gawker. and i feel i should stay informed if this woman thinks she is going to run for president in 2012..... if god opens the door for her. and lately, there wouldn't be much of anything for me to watch without her face popping up on the screen.
i thought for a moment i was back at the old bookshelf. i wasn't attacking you sheila. unless you are related to sarah, my apologies.

Spidey! bitter and bilous was for your vomit comment (that almost rhymes). Unfortunately what I thought was clever may have inadvertently hurt you. Part of the problem with this forum as has been said so many times is that one cannot see evil (but friendly) grins. Trust me, I can disagree with you and argue points and it is not meant to be personal. I would not hurt anyone's feelings about this stuff. Even though I may seem harsh, let's face it, you ladies can dish it out. Pax?

We don't have to leave her alone when she continuously puts herself out there--whether we're gawkers like Spidey, or just people who want to watch the news channels.

The media may just be foaming at the mouth to get her to screw up, but if she's SERIOUS about making a run for 2012 then she should GO AWAY and EDUCATE herself on policy matters, the world, and READ the newspapers she can't name, and the books she wanted out of the Wasilla library. Go away and become an EXPERT on something other than being a hockey mom and a cheerleader for the rabid right wing. REINVENTING herself would do wonders for the people who don't like her. She's the political equivalent of Paris Hilton and we can bitch about not liking her and having to see her lipsticked mug all over the place.

Em, that's not being fair to Paris Hilton.
