Purpose: To talk about what old broards talk about.

What are your plans for the Thanksgivng Day holiday?
We are going to my sister's house in Muncie. She asked me to bring yeast rolls, the old stand by green bean casserole, and some appetizers. Anyone have and knock-their-socks-off appetizers?
as you already know, i am making a deeelicious sweet potato dish. :) we are going to spideysons inlaws. my mom and dad are invited too, so it will be a nice day. my sons father in law is quite the cook and his turkey will be yummy.
Our daughter, her husband and two dogs are coming here this year instead of us going to them. We got a Honeybake Ham the other day (Thursday better hurry since the ham is dwindling fast!), one of our local buffet meat and three restaurants makes a killer dressing so I got one of those (just heat and serve...simple), I'll make what we call a college casserole (a variation of the green bean thingy) and they're bringing something or other.
Hallie's college friend, Katie, is flying in from Kansas City. It was just going to be the four of us (Ian is staying in OK for Thanksgiving, and must be fed two dinners by his two grandmothers, god bless him), but on a whim, H. invited her high school friend Chris and his family. Their house burned down in the fires last week. They said yes--and they have four grown boys, plus the mom and dad. Gonna have to triple all my recipes!
many people are coming to my house and all i need to do is point at the soda on the porch and put the pies in the oven, everyone else is bringing the food.
My Jan (Step mom and best friend) is kindly driving Maddie down from RF and she has chosen to have Thanksgiving with us and stay to Sunday then she is taking Maddie back home. She has been the inspiration for my diet so we are having a fairly light thanksgiving. I will make rolls though and a pumpkin pie, but I got the low fat coolwhip (petroleum product)and plan a large salad to fill us all up before the mashed potatoes then there will be massive card playing and a little sewing... It will be very nice
Nope, Heather still has all the dogs in the pack. But Lily is such a wimp, hiding from all other visiting dogs, that I requested that they bring only the two dogs that I know she gets along with.
Anyway, since you know how small our house is, can you imagine SEVEN dogs in here?

We also found a Claxton fruitcake for dessert :-)

I am going to a movie with my friend Karla cuz her b-day is the next day then we are having Indian food for dinner, yummy. :)
Emma, find the Key Lime Cheese Torta from Rising Sun Farms, and pair it with Carr's Whole Wheat Crackers and Carr's Cheese Crackers. So tasty.

Going to grandma's for turkey; supposed to bring an appetizer. Not sure what to bring. I'm just happy to go.
Turkey & trimmings here, for at least three of us (Richard, me, and our daughter). I know not if my son will show up or not.
