since i think i'm one of the few who didn't do it early, i plan to go between 10-4, when it's slow. i live in a minority area in baltimore, so they'll probably be a long line and other issues if i wait too long. these things never happened when i lived in white suburbia. i'm gla di have the day off. my friend has to take half a day off of work to go vote, since she works for a private school.
I'm planning to go around 11. Hallie got up a half hour early to go before work. Our precinct is tiny and our polling place is someone's garage. I hope she didn't encouner a line, since it was actually RAINING in Yorba LInda this morning! Now that is crazy!
in MD, all polling places must be government property,so they use firehalls and schools, but mostly schools. my place is a HS, so they had 25 machines going. i felt bad for ele school people. these people had to wait for 4 machines.
