Nut job??? The character was pro-choice! AS IF any Republican nominee would be pro-choice! I'm pro-choice but the Republican party only nominates pro-choice Republicans for President, in Aaron Sorkin's fuzzy world. Maybe it's all those drugs he takes.

I sure hope the writers of The West Wing were spot on about who wins this election.
I saw a few episodes of this West Wing....I love Alan Alda. In real life he's very liberal, but played a right wing nutjob very well
